Agnes Silantoi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over five years of legal experience in public service. She currently serves as a State Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice.
She holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property from Africa University in Zimbabwe, a program jointly offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), and the Government of Japan. She is also a Fellow of the Equiano Institute of AI Governance, where she deepened her expertise in the ethical aspects of Artificial Intelligence.
She is passionate about the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and intellectual property, and continues to explore how emerging technologies can be effectively governed to promote creativity and innovation in the digital age.
