July 4th, 2025, the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) at Strathmore University celebrated the conclusion of the first Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Fellowship. The fellowship brought together six fellows from East Africa, who undertook a learning journey designed to build the foundational knowledge and policy insight necessary for navigating the complexities of AI governance in Africa.
