Kenya Industrial Property Institute in collaboration with CIPIT will hold a training course on drafting and prosecuting patent applications from 12th -15th August 2013 at Strathmore University, Nairobi. We are honored to invite you to register for this course.
The objective of the course is to equip the participants with skills for preparing, filing and prosecuting patent and utility model applications in accordance with the requirements of the Industrial Property Act 2001. Instructors will include KIPI Patent Examiners and Dr. Isaac Rutenberg (8 years patent drafting experience with Silicon Valley law firms).
The course is limited to 25 participants only and early confirmation and registration of participation is necessary. You can register online here.
The participation fee for each person is Ksh. 50,000, which includes lunch, teas and training materials. The fee should be paid to the Institute by cash or cheque by 5th August 2013. However, participants who will register and pay the fee by 2nd August 2013 will enjoy a special rate of Ksh. 45,000. Where necessary, participants should make their own arrangements for hotel accommodation.
Advocates will earn 2 CLE points upon completion of the training.
