The study focuses on the national AI strategies of five Sub-Saharan African nations: Egypt, Mauritius, Rwanda, Nigeria, and Benin. By examining these existing frameworks, the research aims to highlight best practices in AI policy across the continent. The findings will provide valuable insights and centralized data that can assist other African countries currently in the early stages of crafting their own national AI policy plans.
